Custom HCP / HCW Types
Health Care Providers (HCPs) — sometimes called Health Care Workers (HCWs) — are the types of staff your auditors record observations against: nurses, physicians, dietary staff, EMS, environmental services, and any custom role your organization tracks. The HCP list controls the dropdown auditors see, the colors used on dashboards and charts, and the FTE counts used to weight results across roles.
Out of the box clearPath ships with a starter set, but most organizations add their own. Make the dropdown match the staff your team actually audits — short, accurate, and tuned to your facility.

Provider List
The Provider List is where you manage every HCP type on the account. Stat chips across the top show the total, enabled, and disabled counts, and an inline color swatch and status icon let you change the basics without ever opening the editor.
- Stat chips: Total, Enabled, Disabled
- Search by provider name
- Filter by status (Enabled / Disabled / All)
- Click the status icon to toggle without opening the editor
- Click the color swatch to open the color picker inline
- Frequency counter — how many observations have been recorded for each HCP

Provider Editor
Each HCP gets a name, a short abbreviation, an index that controls dropdown order, a color, and an FTE weighting. The FTE value drives the HCP Full Time Equivalents dashboard widget and any report that weights compliance by role — so a unit with three nurses and one dietary worker is not treated as if it had four nurses.
